Gaushala, in its commitment to preserving and promoting religious heritage, has undertaken a significant endeavor - the Renovation of Neelkant Mahadev Temple in Nara. This ancient temple, with a history spanning over 300 years, holds immense reverence as the abode of Lord Shiv.
With unwavering dedication, Gaushala, in collaboration with the esteemed Nara Lohana Samaj, comprising Families of Hindusota, Chandarana, Baru, Chandan Parivar, and countless well-wishers and devotees of Lord Shiv, is embarking on the noble task of reconstructing this sacred temple. The estimated project cost stands at approximately 30 Lakh rupees, and donations towards this noble cause are warmly welcomed.

ગૌમાતા માટે મુક્તિધામ
ગાયને માતા કહીએ છીએ, પણ તેના સન્માન સાથેના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર માટે આજ સુધી કોઈ વ્યવસ્થા નથી : જોકે કચ્છમાં આનો વિચાર થયો અને તૈયાર થયું વિશ્વનું સૌપ્રથમ ગૌ મુક્તિધામ જેનું લોકાર્પણ થશે રવિવારે
મુંબઈ : આપણા દેશમાં ગાયને ગૌમાતા તરીકે પૂજવામાં આવે છે. દેશમાં મનુષ્યના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર માટે હજારો સ્મશાનભૂમિ છે, પણ ગૌમાતાના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર માટે કોઈ જ સ્મશાનભૂમિ બાંધવામાં આવી હોય એવું સાંભળવા મળ્યું નથી. એમાં કોઈ શંકા નથી કે ગૌમાતાના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર માટે સ્મશાનભૂમિ હોવી જોઈએ એવી દેશમાં અનેક વાર માગણી થઈ છે, પણ આજ સુધી એનું નક્કર પરિણામ આવ્યું હોય એવી જાણકારી મળતી નથી. જોકે અમુક કચ્છી સામાજિક કાર્યકરો અને તેમની બિનસરકારી સંસ્થા સક્રિય બન્યા પછી આ રવિવારે ૨૨ મેએ દેશના સૌપ્રથમ શ્રી માઁ ગ્રુપ ચૅરિટેબલ ટ્રસ્ટ દ્વારા બાંધવામાં આવેલા ગૌ મુક્તિધામનું કચ્છના નરા ગામમાં લોકાર્પણ કરવામાં આવશે. એક એકરની જમીનમાં બનેલા આ મુક્તિધામમાં અત્યારે વીસ ગાયોના અંતિમ સંસ્કારની વ્યવસ્થા ઊભી કરવામાં આવી છે. ગાયોના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર આપણા દેશમાં કેવી રીતે કરવામાં આવે છે એ બાબતની મળેલી માહિતી પ્રમાણે ગાયના મૃત્યુ બાદ એના મૃતદેહને ચમાર કે એના જેવી કોઈ કોમને સોંપી દેવામાં આવે છે. આ લોકો મૃત ગાયના ચામડાને પહેલાં કાઢી નાખે છે. આ ચામડામાંથી તેઓ વિવિધ પ્રકારનાં ઉત્પાદનો બનાવે છે. ત્યાર પછી બાકી રહેલા ગાયોના આંતરિક ભાગોને કોઈ અજ્ઞાત સ્થળે ખાડો ખોદીને એમાં એ ભાગોને એના પર આખું મીઠું (સૉલ્ટ) નાખીને દાટી દેવામાં આવે છે. એ અંદાજે છ મહિનામાં માટી સાથે ભળીને ખાતર બની જાય છે જેનાથી એ જમીન ફળદ્રુપ બને છે. એમ પણ જાણવા મળ્યું છે કે અમુક સમયે તો ગાયના મૃતદેહને ગામથી કે શહેરથી દૂર લઈ જઈને ફેંકી દેવામાં આવે છે. સાફસફાઈ કર્યા વગર ફેંકી દીધેલા મૃતદેહને લાંબા સમયમાં જીવો કોરી ખાય છે અને એ જ જગ્યા પર મૃતદેહ જમીનમાં ભળી જાય છે.
આ બધા અભ્યાસ પછી કચ્છના નરા ગામમાં ૪૩૧ ગાયોની ગૌશાળાની સારસંભાળ લઈ રહેલા શ્રી માઁ ગ્રુપ ચૅરિટેબલ ટ્રસ્ટના ટ્રસ્ટી અશ્વિન ચંદનને એક દિવસ વિચાર આવ્યો કે આપણે હિન્દુઓ ગાયને માતા કહીએ છીએ, પણ આપણી પોતાની માતાની જેમ આપણે ગાયોના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર કરતા નથી. આપણે ગાયોના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર પણ હિન્દુ વિધિ સાથે આપણી માતાના અંતિમ સંસ્કારની જેમ જ કરવા જોઈએ. તેમના આ વિચારને તેમણે શ્રી માઁ ગ્રુપ ચૅરિટેબલ ટ્રસ્ટના ચૅરમૅન ભરત મારુને અને તેમના અન્ય કાર્યકર જયેશ રૂપારેલ (જય અંબે) સાથે શૅર કર્યા હતા અને એમાંથી પરિણમ્યો કચ્છના નરા ગામમાં ગાયના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર માટેનો ગૌ મુક્તિધામનો પ્રોજેક્ટ.
આ બાબતની માહિતી આપતાં શ્રી માઁ ગ્રુપ ચૅરિટેબલ ટ્રસ્ટના અન્ય ટ્રસ્ટી જયેશ રૂપારેલે ‘મિડ-ડે’ને કહ્યું હતું કે ‘આપણે દેશમાં અને વિશ્વભરમાં માનવીના મૃત્યુ પછી તેના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર માટે જેમ સ્મશાનભૂમિ છે એવી સ્મશાનભૂમિ આપણી માતા સમાન ગાયો માટે નથી. આથી અમારી સંસ્થાએ માનવીના અંતિમ સંસ્કારની જેમ જ હિન્દુ વિધિપૂર્વક આપણી ગૌમાતાના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર થઈ શકે એવી વ્યવસ્થા ઊભી કરવાનો નિર્ણય કર્યો. આપણા દેશમાં કે વિશ્વમાં કોઈ જ શહેર કે ગામમાં ગૌ મુક્તિધામનું સર્જન થયું નથી. અમે ત્રણેય મિત્રો (ત્રિમૂર્તિ)એ સાથે મળીને કચ્છના નરા ગામની એક એકર જમીનમાં ગૌ મુક્તિધામ તૈયાર કર્યું.’
આ મુક્તિધામમાં અમે ગૌમાતાને દફનાવવા માટે અત્યારે ૨૦ ફુટ ઊંડા ૨૦ ખાડા બનાવ્યા છે એવી જાણકારી આપતાં જયેશ રૂપારેલે કહ્યું હતું કે ‘આ મુક્તિધામમાં ગાયોના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર માટે અમારી સંસ્થા પર અમને કચ્છના કોઈ પણ વિસ્તારમાંથી ફોન આવશે ત્યાં અમારી સંસ્થાની પ્રાણીઓ માટેની ઍમ્બ્યુલન્સ પહોંચી જશે અને ગાયની ડેડ બૉડી લઈને આવશે. મુક્તિધામમાં ગાયની ડેડ બૉડી આવ્યા બાદ ગાયને જે રીતે આપણે આપણી માતાના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર પહેલાં હિન્દુ વિધિ કરીએ એ પ્રમાણે સ્નાન કરાવવાથી લઈને હારતોરા કરવા સુધીની બધી જ વિધિ ગૌ મુક્તિધામમાં હાજર બ્રાહ્મણ કરશે અને ત્યાર બાદ ગૌમાતાની ડેડ બૉડીને ઊંડા ખાડામાં દફન કરવામાં આવશે.’
અમે અત્યાર સુધી જે રીતે થાય છે એ પ્રમાણે ગાયોની ડેડ બૉડીના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર કરતાં પહેલાં એના પરથી ચામડું કોઈ સંજાગોમાં ઉતારીશું નહીં તથા અમે જેમ મનુષ્યની ડેડ બૉડીના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર કરવામાં આવે છે એવી જ રીતે ગૌમાતાના પણ અંતિમ સંસ્કાર કરીશું એમ જણાવીને જયેશ રૂપારેલે કહ્યું હતું કે ‘અમે કચ્છના નરાના ગૌ મુક્તિધામમાં તૈયાર કરેલા ૨૦ ફુટ ઊંડા ખાડામાં પહેલાં આખું મીઠું નાખીશું. એના પર ગૌમાતાની ડેડ બૉડીને ખાડામાં પધરાવવામાં આવશે. ત્યાર પછી એ ડેડ બૉડી પર ફરીથી મીઠું પાથરવામાં આવશે અને ખાડો પૂરી દેવામાં આવશે. અમારા અંદાજ પ્રમાણે ગૌમાતાની ડેડ બૉડીનું ત્રણ મહિનાના સમયગાળામાં ખાતરમાં પરિવર્તન થઈ જશે.’
શ્રી માઁ ગ્રુપ ચૅરિટેબલ ટ્રસ્ટ દ્વારા મગજમાં સ્ફુરેલા ગૌ મુક્તિધામ પ્રોજેક્ટને અંતિમ ચરણમાં પહોંચાડતાં છ મહિના લાગ્યા હતા. રવિવાર, ૨૨ મેએ આ સંસ્થા તરફથી સંપૂર્ણ કચ્છ માટે આ ગૌમાતા મુક્તિધામનું લોકાર્પણ કરવામાં આવશે. આ સંસ્થાના કાર્યકરો સહિત અનેક લોકો ગૌ મુક્તિધામ માટે કાર્યરત રહેશે. આ સિવાય મુક્તિધામની આસપાસ ૧૦ એકર જમીનમાં આ સંસ્થા તરફથી થાઇલૅન્ડનું ઘાસ વાવવામાં આવ્યું છે. એમાંથી ઘાસચારા માટે ઘાસનું ઉત્પાદન થતું રહે છે.
ગાયોની સ્મશાનભૂમિ માટે જાહેર થયેલા અગાઉના સરકારી પ્રોજેક્ટો ૧. રાજસ્થાનમાં ગાયના આશ્રયસ્થાનની વ્યવસ્થા સંભાળી રહેલા સંચાલકોએ ૨૦૧૭માં ગાયની ડેડ બૉડીની ચામડી ન ઉખેડવી જોઈએ અને ગાયની ડેડ બૉડીના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર મનુષ્યની જેમ જ થવા જોઈએ એવી ચર્ચાઓ કરી હતી તેમ જ રાજસ્થાનની શ્રી ગોપાલ ગૌશાળામાં ગૅસની ભઠ્ઠીમાં ગાયોને અંતિમ સંસ્કાર આપવા માટેનો પ્રોજેક્ટ તૈયાર કરવાની વાતો થઈ હતી. એ સમયે ૧૫ લાખ રૂપિયાની ગૅસની ભઠ્ઠી ટૂંક સમયમાં ગૌશાળામાં મૂકવામાં આવશે એવી પણ વાતો કરવામાં આવી હતી, પરંતુ આ ભઠ્ઠી પછી અસ્તિત્વમાં આવી કે નહીં એના કોઈ સમાચાર જાણવા મળ્યા નથી.
૨. ત્યાર પછી મધ્ય પ્રદેશના ભોપાલમાં ભારતની સૌથી પહેલી ગાયોની સ્મશાનભૂમિની વાતો વહેતી થઈ હતી. એ સમયના ભોપાલ મહાનગરપાલિકાના મેયર આલોક શર્માએ જાહેરાત કરી હતી કે ભોપાલમાં જમીન મળતાં જ ભારતનું સૌથી પહેલું ગૌ મુક્તિધામ શરૂ કરવામાં આવશે. કોઈ ગાયનું અકુદરતી અથવા અકાળે મૃત્યુ થશે તો એના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર ગાયોના મુક્તિધામમાં કરવામાં આવશે.
૩. જોકે દેશભરની ગૌશાળાઓ એમના લેવલ પર એમની ગૌશાળામાં રહેતી ગાયોનાં મૃત્યુ બાદ આસપાસની જમીનમાં ગાયોના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર કરતી હોય છે. આ બાબતમાં દેશભરની ગૌશાળા સાથે સંકળાયેલા એક કાર્યકર પાસેથી જાણવા મળ્યા પ્રમાણે આ ગૌશાળાના કર્મચારીઓ પહેલાં ગાયના મૃતદેહને ચમારને સોંપે છે. ચમાર ગાયના મૃતદેહની ચામડી કાઢીને લઈ લે છે. ત્યાર પછી ગાયના રહેલા ભાગોને જમીનમાં મીઠું નાખીને દાટી દેવામાં આવે છે. Last year, we were thrilled to have a footfall of over 1,000 individuals who attended our enlightening Bhagwat Sapta conducted by the esteemed Shri Vishal Maharaj. In addition to our promotional efforts, we are striving to achieve self-sufficiency by utilizing the surplus land available at Muktidham, which is connected to our Gaushala. Our current focus lies in cultivating food grains and grass to sustain our operations. By growing these essential resources, we aim to meet the dietary requirements of our beloved cows and reduce dependency on external sources. This initiative not only contributes to the overall well-being of our cows but also aligns with our commitment to maintaining a harmonious and balanced ecosystem within our Gaushala. We believe that by utilizing our resources effectively, we can ensure a sustainable future for our organization and continue to provide quality care and support to the cows under our guardianship.
